As Promised...

...Pics of the completed window display for Fire Finch in Hillsboro Village. The animals and leaves are cardboard with many layers of tissue paper and Mod Podge.

Chuck E. Cheese

I totally forgot how much fun Chuck E. Cheese is! My eyes have been re-opened recently as I've gone with the Jone's a couple times- how did I ever forget?!? Skee- ball, racing games, basketball, pizza, and even a photo booth that prints your photo on a plastic "ID" card. WHAT! Yes, all that and more.
Luke and I got several different ID cards made that were super cute, but I like the photos of us making them even better!

A little peak

The past couple days I've been a decoupaging machine! I'm making these adorable animals out of cardboard, mod podge, and tissue paper. This animal family is made up of a giraffe, an elephant and a tiger; it will be hanging in the window of the Village Fire Finch for the month of April. Ch Ch Check it out.
P.S. Pics of the complete window display coming soon!

Fun Pics

Ok, here are a couple fun photos from Fusion 08. I went with my lovely girlfriends, Christin and Liz. We had some drinks, sampled some food from Southern Spoon (fried bananas :), checked out some art, watched some fashion shows ( a little underwhelming), and listened to some fantastic local music ( I met Brooke Waggonner- she seems like the kind of girl you want to hang out with). One of my watercolor birds -the one I'm next to in the black and white pic- sold in the auction and 100% of the purchase price went to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation! Yay!
