Splashing...

Fashion Home - Splashes of sunshine for spring 2010

I always find Pantone's color reports interesting. I love the colors of summer more than anything, but spring is a close second. I also love that Turquoise Pantone 15- 5519 has been declared THE color of 2010. This is totally my year.

From the Pantone website:
In many cultures, Turquoise is believed to be a protective talisman, a color of deep compassion and healing, and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky. Through years of color word-association studies, we also find that to many people, Turquoise represents an escape, taking them to a tropical paradise that is pleasant and inviting – even if it is only a fantasy.

It's Time

My new window for Rodney Mitchell

It's time for spring, for sun, for flowers, for afternoons outside. I won't bitch about winter, as they go this one's been good. However, I LOVE the energy that's building in anticipation of the new season. New daylight hours, new plant life, new colors; it's the best. Well, summer is the the ultimate best, but until then...I like the look of spring.
